I had a nice restful day of doing nothing today. I was woken by the sounds of Yakov and his girlfriend(?) moving his stuff out. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention: Yakov got a job with Raytheon in Indianapolis and plans to be out of the house by the end of the month. I did some cleaning, replaced my shoelaces, went grocery shopping, and generally did nothing. Chris came over and watched some TV. Someone tried to sell us magazines.

I forgot to mention last night that I recovered the mp3s. This needs some explaining because the night the hard drive gave out was during the brain burn weeks. As you have surmised I had one of my newer hard drives fail and I nearly lost the entire full albums collection as a result. I followed one of these suggestions and managed to get the data off. Oddly enough placing the drive in the refrigerator overnight actually worked. Truth is stranger than fiction.
