For my birthday my lovely and talented girlfriend bought me a Roomba. This was an excellent gift considering that I have always wanted a robot slave of my own. We decided to name our robot as most Roomba owners do. We named it "floornet" as a reminder that it will probably rise up and try to kill us some day.

As it turns out Frank Lloyd Wright designed a house here in scenic West Lafayette, Indiana. The private residence is still owned by the professor who commissioned the design more than 56 years ago. This year the community is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the house's completion.

It is strange to think that all this time I have been within walking distance of this house and have never seen it.

On 2006-05-14 my mother completed her Masters of Theology from Christian Theological Seminary (formerly Butler College of Religion). We could not be more proud of her.

CTS is related to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), but of course mother will be following a more Presbyterian route in the future.
