Declaring log bankruptcy and starting fresh. The list of things that should have been logged in the last year but weren't:

October 21st 2009 - The maternal side of my family has a tradition. At weddings involving descendants of my great grandmother, Frances King (nee Smith), the bride may carry her lace handkerchief as their "something old". She first carried it on January 22nd 1907 on the occasion of her marriage to Edgar King. A record is kept of each bride that has carried the handkerchief. Both Sara and Chrissy added their names to the roll.
November 26th 2009 - Thanksgiving
December 16th 2009 - I made a trip to Philadelphia and saw some sites.
December 25th 2009 - Christmas
February 18th 2010 - I returned to Philadelphia and saw some more sites.
April 10th 2010 - Sara and I explored the wind farm that has sprung up north of Lafayette.
April 17th 2010 - We visited Chicago: toured the Half Acre Brewery, took in the Transmissions exhibition which Katie both coordinated and participated in, and celebrated Castor's birthday a bit early. Photos here.
April 20th 2010 - I explored the National Cryptologic Museum.
April 24th 2010 - We celebrated the April birthdays.
May 2nd 2010 - Everyone got together to wish my grandparents a happy 62nd wedding anniversary.
May 3rd 2010 - Jenny Graduated from high school.
May 8th 2010 - Sara and Chrissy ran the Indianapolis Mini-Marathon.
May 10th 2010 - Sara hosted renowned neuroscientist Olaf Blanke for dinner at our home. She served Chiles en Nogada.
May 12th 2010 - I visited Charm City.
May 15th 2010 - Chelsea and Steve got married.
May 29th 2010 - We had the good fortune to attend game one of the Stanley Cup Final between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Philadelphia Flyers.
May 30th 2010 - Sara and I took another trip to the Chicago Botanic Garden.
June 7th 2010 - I returned to Charm City.
June 11th 2010 - By way of some extraordinary kindness and good luck Sara and I were able to ride in the Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup victory parade.
June 12th 2010 - Betsy and Bob got married.
July 3rd 2010 - Sara, Liz, Brad, and I examined the B-17 Flying Fortress that was parked at the Purdue Airport for a few days.
August 1st 2010 - Sara and Chrissy ran the Chicago Rock 'n Roll Half-Marathon.
August 8th 2010 - Mike and Julia got married.
September 4th 2010 - Alex and Dawn got married.
October 10th 2010 - Sara and I celebrated our First Anniversary in Las Vegas.
August 16th 2010 - We explored Mississinewa Reservoir.

This weekend we paid a visit to UIUC on the occasion of Jenny's 19th birthday.

Also we went downtown to watch the zombie horde shamble down main street. Zombaid Lafayette collected food for Food Finders Food Bank. We donated some food and got a t-shirt. My photos can be found in the usual place.
