1. Al’Aetha – The Shield, in the Old Tongue, a Mountain Range formed with the One Power near the end of the Breaking to provide a physical barrier against the Blight
2. V’saine – The capital city of the Maranellin Empire. It is thought to be built on the remains of the Age of Legends city V’saine.
3. Cordrelle – River of the Night, in the Old Tongue, it flows from a source too close to the Blight.
4. Sohima Mountains – Many strange ruins are scattered across this Range. From time to time citizens of Uttar report strange lights coming from the slopes.
5. Cormuadandrelle – A tributary of the Cordrelle.
6. The Village of Laughlin – A village recently declared for the Maranellin Empire.
7. The Port City of Uttar – Recently captured by the Kingdom of Qirat
8. Abunai – The Capital of the Kingdom of Abunai
9. Al’Rahien’Haman – The Mountains of the Dawn, in the Old Tongue. They get their name from the spectacular view of the rising sun they give.
10. Qirat – The Capital of the Qiratan Empire
11. Madeira – Its shoreline is nothing but huge sheer cliffs that have made any attempt at landing impossible.
12. The Salpa Line – A large fortification built into the only large pass through Al’Aetha. It is referred to as The Dam sometimes because on the Mainland it is said to dam the flow of Shadowspawn from the Blight. The Northlanders take this as a joke on the Mainlanders.
13. L’Heye Sea – A large body of water that nearly divides the Northlands in half.
